Co-Pastor Juakena Winston
Co-Pastor Juakena Winston is truly a woman called by God for the work of the kingdom in this 21st Century. God has gifted her to birth youth and women into their destinies. Co-Pastor J cannot easily be categorized or classified. She stands out among many as a uniquely designed multi-faceted woman. From her fashion style to her preaching style she is in a class of her own. Currently she serves as Co-Pastor with Apostle Darryl Winston at Greater Works Ministries, in Atlanta, GA. Elder of
the youth department, media department, and Women’s Ministry, she also leads other ministries within the church. Under her leadership, several youth have been led to Christ and joined the ministry along with their parents.
She has written plays and skits that have allowed youth to minister through drama, dance, voice and other areas of Fine Arts. Co-Pastor J is also very involved in several community outreach efforts. She has volunteered at the local Special Olympics, Hands on Atlanta Day, The Interfaith Children &39's Movement, HIV/AIDS programs and many more.

Co-Pastor Juakena Winston is a native of Washington, D.C. Before accepting her call to ministry, & Co-J” as affectionately called at Greater Works, acquired a B.A. in Broadcast Technology from the University of Maryland, Bowie Campus. She later relocated to the Atlanta area to pursue a master’s degree of which she completed at Clark-Atlanta University in the area of Special Education.
Elder Winston taught 7 years in the Atlanta Public School System in the special education department before working diligently to open Seeds of Greatness Christian Academy. She & 39's worked in for-profit and non-profit spaces as a curriculum developer and instructor, a behavioral health specialist, and project manager. Most recently, she serves as talent manager to her sons who are working professionals in the television and film industry.
Elder Winston exhibits a family first way of living. She is a dedicated wife to founding Pastor of Greater Works Ministries, Apostle Darryl L. Winston and a caring mother of 4 young adult children. In just one brief encounter, it is evident that Elder Juakena Winston is on a mission for God. She exhibits great faith in her diligence and tenacity in doing the work of the Lord.
She has been called for such a time as this to leave an imprint in this new church and marketplace era.
